The FUNdamentals program is designed to help new skaters and skaters who are new to ringette learn the basic skills of the sport and create amazing memories. Whether a skater is in FUNdamentals 1 (Learn to Skate), FUNdamentals 2 (Learn to Play) or FUNdamentals 3 (Learn to Compete), the program is built for each player to succeed. A player may start the year in FUN1, but as their skills and experience grow, they could find themselves in FUN3 by the end of the season, ready for a regional team in the following season! For more information on this progressive program, check out Children's Ringette.
FUN2 is designed for school-age (born in 2019 or older) skaters who are ready to learn how to lengthen their stride, increase their awareness of the rules of ringette, and experience fun & friendship in a team sport environment. Skaters are required to wear the same gear as hockey, including skates and a CSA-approved helmet with a ringette cage.
Registration fees cover the following:
$350 - Full Season
$200 - 8 Week Session (Oct 1 - Nov 19)
Wednesday Nights (5:00pm) (please note that practice times are subject to change)
Like most organized sports, all registered players must submit proof of completion of the Respect In Sport For Parents program for at least one parent/guardian before the player steps onto the ice. It is a one-time course, so if a parent/guardian has already taken it for another child or sport, that proof of completion is valid for this use. The parent/guardian's unique completion code can be submitted upon registration or later via email to contact@muskokaroyals.com.
